This season’s set envisions the quiet romance of a garden at dusk, lush borders spill over soft gravel paths and the heavy heads of white hydrangeas glow in the last light. In a nod to Monsieur Saint Laurent’s early shows—where models would pass through an elaborate floral arrangement—this vision is reimagined: models meander around a monumental floral Cassandre, revealed when viewed from above. It forms the centrepiece of a garden inspired by the classical French tradition. The audience is seated on gently curved benches retracing the motions of the Cassandre, an homage to the semi-circular benches found in Yves Saint Laurent’s Parisian garden.
